From Wight Bike Eco-solutions, Perreton Farm, Merstone, on quiet road then bridleway to Godshill Park, over the hill to Appuldurcombe, along the railtrail from Wroxall to Shanklin, down to the seafront and along to Sandown to pick up the other railtrail towards Newport as far as Merstone.

Enjoy a variety of tracks and some great views of the East Wight on the Sunshine Loop part of the Red Squirrel Trail

We'll ride on some byways from Merstone (Perreton Farm) past Godshill Park and Freemantle Gatehouse, then one of the rail trails from Wroxall to Shanklin, along the seafront to Sundown, and thence along national cycle route 23 (another rail trail) towards the start point. Mostly traffic-free.

We'll stop at Pedallers Cafe in Langbridge after around 12 miles for cake and a drink, bring payment

The trails are bumpy, sandy and gravelly in some places, where the bridleways cross fields. Padded mitts make it more comfy, Helmets recommended. Check weather forecast and come dressed appropriately!

We never leave anyone behind
