Ride Darlo - Summer Series

Our Summer Series rides are designed to make the most of the long, warm summer evenings and doing something a little different to our normal Sunday programme by taking in shorter routes and staying in and around Darlington’s local area. These rides involve riding around local roads and cycleways and will include a stopover at a local pub on route. Nice and easy and short, you’ll be back before it gets dark.

These rides are classed EASYGOING or STEADY rides which are between 10-20 miles. The rides are usually flat, some have some small climbs. The rides are all on the roads or cycleways – all bike types are suitable. They are suitable for riders who are fit enough to sustain around 10mph avg. and can continually cycle for around 1 hour each way. The stopover on these rides will be for around 30 mins. These times are a guide and the rides can take longer.
