Please meet in Rails Meadow car park in Tewkesbury where I will be waiting for you.
There should be plenty of parking spaces.
Celebrating International Women's Day (officially Thursday), I am launching my Breeze rides with a steady spin around the lanes through to Bredon and back down through Northway on the old railway line cycle path. This is part of a regular route of mine. It is a gentle mainly flat route, with one main steady slope out of Tewkesbury. It is a lovely route for everyone to ride together and enjoy time outside on bikes.
Pace will be to suit the slowest as I want to encourage all ladies to get on their bikes but as a general guide, looking at a lower end average of 10mph which is very doable.
You don't have to be a regular cyclist to join this ride, though this is a ride open to all levels, anyone looking to get back on a bike and get active is welcome. Experience of riding on the road is necessary.
Helmets compulsory, as is a safe working bike. Please make sure your tyres are in good road-worthy condition and are pumped up. Please bring a spare inner tube.
Wear and bring appropriate clothing for all weathers and bring a water bottle to carry on your bike.
This will be a lovely social ride of women for women and we will finish at The Roses Theatre cafe for hot drinks and cake so bring some ££
