It never ceases to amaze me how dependent the boroughs are on eachother in South East London. That's why we have to have a Dog & Bell Crew, when all the boroughs already have their own cycling groups. The same is true for the Quaggy River - if it weren't for Bromley and Greenwich, there would be no Quaggy River in Lewisham! On this ride we will start by seeking out the mouth of the River Quaggy and then we will trace its route, which will take us into Sutcliffe Park, our neighbouring borough Greenwich. We will then go up to Eltham Palace and continue to Avery Hill Park, where we will stop for a refreshment break at the cafe there. We will then return via Kidbook, Blackheath and Greenwich Park to Cutty Sark Gardens. Ride Leader: Nigel Bee (tel 07415 315 690 email [email protected] )
