Starting point

Greater Manchester
WN7 2PW

This guided ride celebrates the recent work that has taken place in the Wigan Borough to get people active and on their bikes, we hope these new riders will sign up to this journey from Leigh to Wigan to celebrate The Brick Fest 10th Birthday!

We meet at Leigh Hackspace (a community funded workspace where people with common interests can meet share knowledge and develop and learn skills.) From here we join the Bridgewater canal for the off road ride to Wigan along the Leeds/Liverpool canal. It’s a safe, flat, scenic ride!

Just before Wigan Peer our halfway point we leave the canal and join in the Brick’s Birthday Celebration, with a live band, cakes and pies, tombola and Gearing Up bike maintenance service.

We will treat you to a free tea or coffee before our journey back to Leigh.
