The Southwark Healthy Riders (https://www.letsride.co.uk/groups/southwark-healthy-riders) might not need to appoint a committee to organise its events if the majority of its rides are restricted to be just 2 hours long. But if it does lots of longer rides it will have to hold AGMs attended by a quorum of at least 20 paid-up members so that it can elect a committee, like the vast majority of cycling groups in the country. Do we want this to happen? Vote with your feet! (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Foot_voting). We've noticed from looking at Facebook that there's a lot of quorum busting going on (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quorum#Quorum-busting), but that's not going to stop us from trying to achieve a quorum! "I prefer someone who burns the flag and wraps themselves up in a Constitution over someone who burns the Constitution and wraps themselves up in a flag." - Molly Ivins

This is a ride to Greenwich Park via the Chislehurst Caves. We start by cycling along the Waterlink Way until we reach Beckenham Place Park. We then cycle through Chinbrook Meadows. No one from North London is going to feel homesick on this ride, as we then go through a hamlet called Lower Camden. This takes us to the Chislehurst Caves, where we stop for our refreshment break. We can't let you escape without doing at least on big hill, so we will then climb Old Hill and cycle to Sidcup, where we will take a look at Sidcup Manor House and cycle through its gardens. We then cycle through Eltham, Kidbrook, Blackheath and Greenwich Park to Cutty Sark Gardens, where the ride finishes.
