Starting point

BH6 4EN

Hengitsbury Head car park outside the Hungry Hikers cafe. The nearest train station is Christchurch.

Ride from the sea front at Hengitsbury Head car park, through Christchuch as we then get out into the quieter lanes of the New Forest. Look out for the odd Buzzard or two flying over head and the small birds in the hedgerows. As we get nearer to Burley you will see the cows, horses and possibly donkeys depending where the shade is at the moment. Passing though Burley without stopping and past the church on a slight hill and down the otherside though winding lanes under the shade of some trees. Down Crow hill and heading towards Norh Ripley before reaching the farmland with the odd maverick chicken running about. Look out for the old dairy and the thatched cottages scattered about on this very picturesque route before heading back to Hengitsbury Head. Not stopping at at the car park but continuing on towards Bournemouth Pier across the top to avoid the sea front and dropping down to pier approach to the SkyRide event and to watch the exciting criterium race through Bournemouth. Please make sure you bring lights on your bikes because it will be dark later. Please bring plenty to drink and something to eat because the stop will be in Bournemouth. Before i forget sun cream too will be needed! It's going to be great fun i can't wait to see as many of you as possible.
