BL6 7SB

The route follows trails up and around Yarrow Reservoir and then out up to lead mines clough where crossing fields (cows and sheep aplenty) will lead us up and over the infamous Sheep house Lane continuing along tracks to Pigeon Tower and the great Rivington Moors. There are a few gates that cannot be opened therefore you will need to lift your bike over( with assistance). There are sections where we will need to dismount to cross over streams etc. It is a great adrenaline adventure where fun and laughter will be in abundance. Ideal for novice MTB who have a good level of fitness.

A short but steady mountain bike route that mainly follows trails but does include small sections of offroad.

All traffic free with stoney paths, fields, a very small section of road to cross before heading back over more stoney, rocky paths.

The route is short but a cafe stop may be appreciated nearer tot he end of the ride. A decision will be made on the day.

Helmets are compulsary. Appropriate clothing and footwear is recommended as it is a muddy, sometimes wet route. Please also bring along a drink and spare innertube etc

Don't say no until you've had a go!
