Rockets Women's Sunday Ride- May (Average speed 12mph)

Meet inside of Rockets and Rascals for 0915 and grab yourself a espresso and chat to the other ladies taking part in this ride. Any queries please ask ride leader or staff in the store.

The route this month is a hilly one! So please make sure you and your bike are up for this ride!

Starting at Rockets we will head up to Jennycliff, make our way through the lanes until Brixton. Cut off at Yealmpton and head across to Smithaleigh, Cornwood and up Dragons Hill!
Regroup at the top before cycling past Lee Moor & Wotter and then descending into Shaugh Prior and then up to Bickleigh. Hit the main road at Roborough, with a fast(ish) ride back to the store via Tavistock Road, Central Park, Train Station and then back to Rockets for lunch.

Please try and cycle in single file or two abreast and be aware of sharing the road with other road users and pedestrians.

Average speed 12mph. ROAD BIKES ONLY!! We ride for fun with a no drop policy, which means these rides are not suitable for training or racing. However, this ride is not for beginners and it is expected that all riders are able to comfortably ride for 2 hours at a steady pace before signing up for this ride. Please turn up to the ride with bike in good working order, helmet, spare tubes, tyre levers and mini pump. Please bring a quick snack/gel/cereal bar. Please wear clothing suitable for the weather.
