This ride starts from the car park at Centurion Way retail park, Bentley, with meet up time at 6.15pm and ride departing at 6.30pm.

Part of a series of shorter Woo Woo rides designed to enable beginners to enjoy riding Woo Woo style over a much shorter distance, though of course non beginners are also more than welcome. These rides are paced at around 6mph. The route takes us up Doncaster Greenway which then merges with the trans pennine trail for part of the way before then leading us up to Highfields Lake, which we skirt the edge of then leave behind us as we head towards the former Brodsworth colliery pit tip (we dont go up that though), joining then the Roman RIdge (the original Roman road out of Doncaster for York). This part of the ride has a short downhill and uphill before we then find ourselves on a long steady downhill descent from Highfields back to York Road (Sun Inn). This next part of the ride follows the cycle paths that run alongside York Road for a short while until we meet again with the Trans Pennine Trail, taking us under York Road and back to the Doncaster Greenway, finally following this back to our start point. Rest stops can be taken as often as anyone needs and we always ride to the pace of our slowest participants. Here's a copy of the route which you can view in map my ride: http://www.mapmyride.com/routes/view/633358678 and this one can be viewed in google maps: https://www.google.com/maps/d/edit?mid=zMeb8P79P2t8.kRoX3CQhsjiQ Make sure you wear your helmet (this is compulsory, if you have no helmet you wont be able to ride with us) and appropriate clothing for the weather (if you have any bright or hi-viz then wear that). As usual we do expect you to have ensured your bike is roadworthy and that you have carried out basic pre ride checks; you should also carry at least one spare inner tube, a pump, and tools to enable you to change a tube if necessary. Dont forget too to bring money for refreshments and a mobile 'phone. You are free to choose to ride with us but in doing so please note that you do so in acceptance that this is entirely at your own risk.
