Roman Lakes Night Ride _ 13 Mile

Although this is a fairly short ride in distance there are some quite demanding climbs involved & especially technical descents, there is more than likely chance we will encounter trail traffic of horse riders & walkers as this is a very popular route.

Expect a fun ride, set at a steady/consistent pace but also wet & muddy (that's winter in the UK)

Due to the technicality this ride is only suited to seasoned mountain bikers that are confident riding these conditions, skill sets will be observed during the pre ride warm up so please review the route & ride profile before committing as refusal can some times cause offence.

Individual/group safety are always first priority.

HELMET, PROTECTIVE PADS, FRONT & REAR LIGHTS SUITED TO OFF ROAD ENVIROMENT AS STANDARD REQUIRMENT.

Please check the weather & come dressed in correct clothing, with pre packed snacks, also appropriate spares for trailside repairs should we fall victim to any mechanicals along route.

Please feel free to bring money for refreshments as there is a public house mid ride for toilet stops & refueling should it be required or post ride pint at the Norfolk arms in Marple.
