A chance to enjoy one of Romsey's best loved gardens at Lake House, Mill Lane. The open day is in aid of local charity, Age UK Winchester. "The garden at Lake House is an absolute joy. It covers more than four acres and includes amazing planting, a lake and beautiful views into the countryside. Our route out will be rural lanes and Tadburn Nature Reserve, taking about an hour. No busy roads at all, so suitable for families. Return time and route will be decided on the day to suit those who come. We will ride home another 8m or catch train back from Romsey Stn. Entry fee to Garden £3.50; teas are extra but usually excellent value.
