Route 66? No That's Marina Quay 66

This is another new ride for our group, using the reverse of the Glasson route.
We will start from Thornton and ride towards Poulton, Hardhorn, Singleton, Thisleton, Great Eccleston, Skitham, Nateby, Cockerham, Winmarleigh, touching Garstang, for the Marina. Don’t forget your 20p for the toll bridge.
Return will be via Winmarleigh, Scronkey, Hale nook, Hambleton and Little Thornton.
We'll ride at a steady pace of 10 - 12 mph on this ride and we'll keep our pace at a level so that we can all stay together.
Remember, this is not a race, but a leisurely ride at a pace to suit the slowest in the group!
Please check your bike over the night before the ride, tyres inflated, all bolts tight, lubricated. Clothing, Helmet & lights checked & ready. Please ensure you have a pump and a couple of spare tubes in case of punctures and a good secure lock.
It would be great to have some new & some familiar faces on this ride, you're all welcome & I look forward to riding with you.
Please arrive at least 15 mins before the ride start time, (9.45) So that we are able to get away at the stated start time

From Thornton Cleveleys to Marina Quay 66, Garstang

As far as is practicable we will use quiet country lanes

We will stop for refreshments at the cafe at Marina Quay 66
