We will go out of Shrivenham on the Highworth Road and after crossing the stream head up hill where we turn left for Sevenhampton, we miss the turn marked Roves farm and go through the village and follow to South Marston, where we take a left to go past the school and left into Nightingale Lane and into the woods. We will then be off road single track until the cheeky little back entrance to Roves Farm. After coffee we take the road exit from the Farm back to Sevenhampton, we will then return via Watchfield as the road surface is much better for down hill on that road

Another chance to visit Roves Farm and do a little bit of off-roading

We will be on country lanes for most of the way, then from South Marston we pick up a tarmacked track before our off road jaunt thru Nightingale Woods and into Roves Farm for refreshment . Our route back is a little more direct

Yes Roves Farm Cafe where we may be be met by Ed

Please bring a face mask; you will only have to wear it in the event of first aid being required. For all our rides you should bring at least a spare inner tube and a pump. If your wheels are bolted on then a spanner that fits the nuts is also essential. Helmets are not compulsory but most definitely recommended. You should dress appropriately for the weather, and consider bringing your mobile phone along with cash or card for the coffee stop.

We welcome new comers to our ride group, but we want you to enjoy the ride so please consider the route, distance and terrain. This is a short ride with a couple of small hills on the Highworth and Sevenhampton Roads. (See the elevation Chart below) If this ride is likely to be a bit difficult then check out our other rides which we put on for newbies and returners and join us on something easier
