Starting from Leyland we'll go through the countryside skirting Eccleston and round to Bispham, over the only small climb on this ride. From there it's over to Rufford to the delightful Fettlers Warf for a lovely tea, coffee &, of course, cake. Then it's the return loop back to Leyland passing by Mawdesley, through Croston and Bretherton.
A mainly flat ride with just one lump which will enable us to have a big piece of cake. We'll ride at a steady pace of 10-12 mph on this ride. There are some ups & downs but nothing too steep and We'll keep our pace at a level so that we can all stay together & have a great ride. This ride will be a nice gentle one, suitable for all, so, in the words of Deliah after a few rather large sherries -
