A fairly flat (just a couple of moderate climbs, but we will wait and regroup at the top)) 36 miles, all tarmac ride. Going on quiet roads up the Trent side to Flixbotough and then on to the renowned Paddock Tea Rooms at Alkborough for refreshment (cakes are amazing!). If anyone hasn't seen it we can have a look at Juliana Bower - an ancient turf maze with stunning views over Trent Falls, the confluence of the Trent and Ouse rivers to form the Humber. You can see York Minster on a (very) clear day! Depending on the group we can either return via the traffic free NCN route169 ftom Flixborough to Scunthorpe or just return the way we came.
