Saturday - Kevin's Social Ride to Rising Sun Country Park

This a very pleasant ride that takes us through Wallsend and then north to the Rising Sun Country Park where we will stop for a chat and refreshments. The return journey will be towards Longbenton and then down through Jesmond Dene back to the Cycle Hub.

The route is almost entirely off-road and with decent track surfaces. The pace will be easy so all are welcome to come along.

Helmets are recommended and please bring sufficent water and preferably a spare inner tube.

Participants are eligible for reduced bike hire at £5 per ride or to buy a bike by paying £10pw and pick a bike from the Hub catalogue then after 20 weeks the bike is theirs (if it is a £200 bike). To book a bike please contact the Hub on 0191 2767250 and give at least 24 hours notice.
