Saturday Saunter to Victoria Park

This is a longer than usual ride but it is a flat route on mainly traffic free or quiet roads, through parks and canal tow paths. We will follow the Waterlink Way to Greenwich with the intention of using the Greenwich foot tunnel where the lifts are back in service. (otherwise we will catch the DLR to the Isle of Dogs) We will then follow the Thames path as far as the C3 and then continue along the Regent’s canal to Victoria park where we will have a coffee stop , hopefully meeting up with the Breeze-Network Brent group led by Renata. If we have time we will make a circuit of the park.
We will return by riding through the Mile End Linear Park and pick up the C3, which is a segregated cycle route, as far as London bridge. We will cross London bridge which is also segregated, and then follow the C4 and C10 to Deptford before picking up the Waterlink way back to Cator Park. If time is tight, we may return via Greenwich instead.
Although this is not a particularly challenging ride, you must be able to maintain a steady pace in order to keep up with the group so that we adhere to the timings posted in this ride.
Please bring oyster card/contactless/freedom pass for the fare on the DLR if we need to take it (£1.60).
