Starting point
Rugeley Leisure Centre, we meet at the entrance, to the right by the playground. The leisure centre offers free parking, toilet facilities.
The route starts at Rugeley leisure centre and follows 'The Chase Heritage Trail' passing Rugeley's very own waterfall, up to Birches Valley where we stop for refreshments (toilets are available).
The Chase Heritage Trail is a linear trail that links Birches Valley to the towns of Rugeley, Hednesford and Cannock, exploring the Chase’s history along the way. This is a multi-use trail and for the majority of the ride it is off road on fairly flat terrain. Suitable for hybrid or mountain bikes.
