Scenic Sunday

The route starts at Rugeley leisure centre and follows part of 'The Chase Heritage Trail' passing Rugeley's very own waterfall, up to Birches Valley where we stop for refreshments (toilets are available). After we will head into Cannock Chase passing the fair oak pools and loop back to Rugeley Leisure Centre. The Chase Heritage Trail is a linear trail that links Birches Valley to the towns of Rugeley, Hednesford and Cannock, exploring the Chase’s history along the way. This is a multi-use trail and for the majority of the ride it is off road on fairly flat terrain. Suitable for hybrid or mountain bikes.
