Sheffield - Wentworth Wollercoaster - 20 mile bike ride

Starting from Concord Park, this pleasant 20 mile route takes in the rolling countryside around Wentworth and Elsecar and includes a café stop. The villages of Thorpe Hesley, Scholes and Brampton Bierlow are also passed on this route. There are a few moderately steep climbs and a few stretches of major road with some fast moving traffic, but the majority of the ride uses quiet country roads. Although there are some hills involved, the great views make the effort worthwhile and there will be plenty of opportunities to stop for a breather.
