Route rating

The route is a loop taking us from Shipley Park into The Erewash Valley to Wollaton Hall on the disused Nottingham Canal, returning via The Erewash Canal and Nutbrook Trail. You will get muddy, especially if its rained the day before.

You will be riding on a mixture of road, bridleways, tow path and dirt track. Road bikes are not suitable for this ride.

The plan is to stop at The Courtyard Cafe in Wollaton Park. Toilets are available.

Bring a helmet, a spare inner tube, suitable clothing for changeable weather during the ride, a mobile phone and a facemask. Ensure your bike is mechanically sound.

We never leave anyone behind
