The ride from the Singleton campus to the Santander dock takes then around 15 minutes at a leisurely pace.

Then we stop at the dock for riders with Santander bikes for docking. Although our end point is the Station, any riders may leave the ride here to continue to their destinations.

From the dock point to Station is around 1 km (10-15 minutes walk). We will walk there following a signposted cycle route (unless everyone has their own bike, in which case we will cycle), which is partly in marked lanes on the road (currently compromised by the roadworks) and partly on dedicated cycle track.

A simple route from Singleton Campus to Swansea Railway Station, designed to work with the Santander Cycles hire scheme, which means a short walk from Waterfront museum to station. The route is quicker than walking all the way, and cheaper than the bus.

Most of the route is cycle path and mostly traffic free.

At the waterfront museum (leisure center, Santander docking station).

Riders can bring their own bikes or hire a Santander Cycle (register at https://www.santandercycles.co.uk/swansea). Helmets are advised but not compulsory.

First-timers welcome!
