Starting from the steps of Derby City Council House, we will head towards Mickleover and follow the Mickleover Greenway to the World Peace Cafe in Etwall. Midway there will be a 40 minute break at the cafe to give you a chance to have a rest and buy a cake or a drink.
The ride is suitable for all ages and is mostly aimed at novice and improvers, or those who would like to get back into cycling - the ride will be at an enjoyable, relaxed and social pace. As long as you know how to ride then the event is for you.
- Ride starts at 10.00am outside Derby City Council House.
- There is no charge to participate in this event.
- The route is flat and follows traffic free paths and some on road sections.
- The ride is targeted at novices and those getting back in to cycling so no one will be left behind.
- Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult.
