The Lifeboat Station on Meols Parade, Hoylake, Wirral CH47 3AL

Hi, welcome to this series of Breeze rides led by two Wirral Breeze Champions: Cliona and Cat. This series has been designed to encourage local women just like you to go from ‘Sofa to Sportive’ in 6 months. A sportive is an organised non-competitive cycling event and we think that the local 28-mile Wirral Bikeathon in June 2017 is the perfect beginner cycling event for you! This series of rides will gradually increase your cycling distance and fitness so that you will have full confidence in your ability to enjoy a great day of cycling achievement in June! This Breeze Ride starts from the The Lifeboat Station on Meols Parade, Hoylake, Wirral CH47 3AL. Meeting at 9:00am for our bike checks and introductions. Setting off at 9:15am on a steady, 12-mile coastal loop from Hoylake and returning to The Lifeboat Station at approximately 11:45am. We will be stopping for a hot drink so please bring some money and a bike lock. Please layer up clothing appropriately. Bike lights and bright/Hi-Vis attire is recommended. Please bring a spare inner tube in case of puncture (don’t worry if you are unable to change a tube, we’ll help you!). Please have your normal breakfast before this ride. Don’t forget to bring with you a drink, a little snack in your pocket & any medication that you might need. Hope to see you on Saturday for this friendly, chatty bike ride in the fresh air. You only regret the bike rides you didn't do, sign up now! :) Any questions, get in touch: [email protected].
