Starting point
Meet at the bridge at Southbank Marina, on the Lairdsland Primary School side.
Get some fresh air and meet some new people by joining this gentle canal ride to Auchinstarry Marina.
Our meeting point is Southbank Marina in Kirkintilloch.
Once we’ve checked over our bikes and warmed up, we’ll ride out along the canal path making the most of the fresh air and lovely views.
We'll have the option of stopping at The Boathouse for a refreshment (don't forget some cash!) then we’ll retrace our route back. The route is almost all off road and flat. Wear comfortable clothing that's suitable for the weather – a helmet is advisable, though not essential.
