Starting point

Buckinghamshire
SL2 4EZ

We start with a safety briefing before setting off socially distanced through Wexham, Slough and Datchet before finding ourselves in Old Windsor and our only short climb of the ride up Crimp Hill. We'll rest and re-group at the top before heading into the Great Park with its views over Windsor Castle. The ride may be subject to change through the park as some sections are currently closed to cyclists. On exiting the park, we descend into Windsor Town Centre passing Windsor Castle and heading over Eton Bridge where we will stop for a take-away coffee. We then continue through Eton Wick and Burnham before arriving home.

We will ride at a speed of 14 mph but will slow for those unable to keep that speed so no-one gets left behind.

Route rating

5 stars (2) Reviews

A fairly flat ride out to Windsor via Slough, climbing the A332 to Windsor Great Park. Once in the park you will have super views of Windsor Castle and hopefully see some of the Royal Cattle as we pass through the quiet private roads. We descend Crimp Hill into Old Windsor and make our way back to the start.

Tarmac surface all the way.

There will be a short take-away coffee stop at the Bishopsgate exit of the Great Park.

We never leave anyone behind
