Starting out at The Cafe In The Park (near the Co-Op) in Beggarwood Park, this is an 8 mile easy-going route suitable for beginners.

It is mainly flat and mostly along the cycle paths around Beggarwood and Hatch Warren. There are some road sections to build experience and confidence but these are on quieter roads and you will be supported by experienced front and rear riders.

This is an ideal route for new or nervous riders to join or for those who want to develop their confidence and stamina within a supportive and friendly group. However if you just fancy a nice gentle ride around the paths of Beggarwood and Hatch Warren then feel free to join us!
Some sections of the route are on gravel paths and therefore if you are on road tyres please ensure you are happy to ride on this surface.

Please bring a pump and spare inner tube for your bike in order that we can help you with a puncture should that be needed.

Please arrive 10 minutes prior to the ride start time to allow us to have a quick chat.

At the end of the ride there is the option to join us for a coffee and a chat at the café so remember to bring some money if you wish to do this along with a bike lock.

Any questions please don’t hesitate to message.

We look forward to meeting you!
