Starting from Stevenage station on the cycle tracks and up through Aston End, Aston, Dane End and onto Great Munden. Circling round to Ardeley for our stop and then returning via Luffenhall, Weston and back to Stevenage station.
This is a new route and we will stop for refreshments and a break at Church Farm at Ardeley.
Quiet country roads and some dedicated cycle tracks
Church Farm tea rooms at Ardeley.
Many quiet roads and a few cycle tracks. Slightly undulating in places but not particularly challenging for regular riders but we never race to the top as we ride together. Nobody gets left behind.
Please wear a helmet, bring a spare inner tube and pump to suit valve, water, suitable clothing for the weather conditions and cash/card for refreshments.
We will meet at 9.50am for a briefing and bike check and will aim to leave by 10.00am.
