Starting point

In support of This Girl Can - Let's Ride, and Clean Air Day, we will cycle a short stretch from the garden centre on quiet roads to Marshfield, where we will continue on route 88 traffic free cycle path passing picturesque marshlands on the way, there is another stretch on quiet roads before we arrive at Tredegar House, returning much the same way after a coffee stop.

Suitable for riders new to Breeze, this is a flat ride to the lovely Tredegar House, on the outskirts of Newport. After a coffee stop we will return to St Mellons.

It is tarmac for most of the way, with only a short stretch of grit/gravel, but is suitable for all bikes.

We will have a coffee/cake stop at Tredegar House teashop.

Please bring some money for refreshments or your own as preferred. It is recommended to wear a helmet, also bring a bike lock and a spare inner tube if you have one. It can be breezy even on a fine day, so you may wish to bring an extra layer.

First time breezers welcome, we never leave anyone behind!
