New Cross Gate Station

Ride from Coulsdon out to the Surrey Hills via Chipstead Valley, Walton, Headley, Juniper Hill and Box Hill. Then Leith Hill, Friday St (optional descent and ascent) Pasture Wood, Holmbury Hill, Peaslake, Raikes Rd, White Down, one last blast down to Westhumble for coffee and cake. Here we can decide to train it back from the station here or ride back via one more ascent of the Box then downhill back to Lewisham. Meet New Cross Gate Station 8.15am for 8.33 train to Coulsdon South. Around 60 miles (or 75 to 80 if you ride back to London). Hard, hilly ride, but great fun and beautiful countryside. Pub lunch and a short stop at the Peadlake stores for a mug of tea and snack.
