TFCC - Cranford Park Knights, Ghosts & Autumn Colours Walk - Approx 20 Miles

TFCC - Traffic Free Cycling Club rides using the network of canal towpaths, cycle paths/lanes and trails to keep us as off road as possible. This ride will be to Cranford Park for the Knights, Ghosts & Autumn Colours Walk.

This ride will be mainly off road, circular so if it's muddy at the start it won't be on the way back. We ride at the pace of the slowest rider, and always regroup at the top of every hill.

The route is mainly traffic free, using cycle lanes, paths, towpaths and trails, so please don't bring a road bike as there may on occassion be muddy and have bumpy tree routes.

We will stop at 5 miles into the ride for the Cranford Park, Knights, Ghosts & Autumn Colours Walk, followed by Tea/Coffee and cakes for a small donation to the Friends of Cranford Park. We will also stop for a pub stop, on the route back.

Money for refreshments, puncture repair kits/inner tubes.

This ride is suitable for new riders, as there are hardly any hills and only a little bit of road involved. We ride at about 8 - 10 mph, and we encourage our fast riders to stay at the back ensuring we stay together as a group.
