Friendly group of cyclists who would like to get a few miles in during the dark winter months, we ride off road at a gentle pace of about 8 - 10mph.
The group specialise in off road cycling using the cycle lanes, tow paths, trails, and cycle paths through parks to keep us as off road as possible.
The evening rides are about 1 - 2 hours long, and apart from stopping at the top of hills to ensure the group stays together.
As these are evening rides, lights, hi Vis, etc will be required, as it's now winter, layered clothing and gloves, as we are cycling off road, a sense of adventure and humour are required.
Our group specialises on staying as traffic free as possible, we ride at the pace of the slowest rider ensuring no one gets left behind, or feels the pressure to keep up. We wait at the top of every hill to ensure that everyone has recovered before we head off again. The last person up the hill decides when we set off.
