After a successful 100 mile ride in May 2021, we are doing it again!! I know crazy right.

This time we are planning to do the route in the other direction heading towards the A40 into London at White City and then across London to Stratford. We plan to have a little rest at Stratford with a bite to eat.

We will then follow the River Lea upto Ware, and then across through Hertford, Welwyn Garden City and then to familiar terrority of St. Albans and the Alban Way, before joining the Canal again at Watford, for the final leg back to West Drayton.

Fancy a challenge then sign up??

This route will be starting in West Drayton followed by 15 miles Non Stop to Watford, where we have a little break at the Bean Coffee Shop in Oxhey Bike Park, there are decent toilets here too. Oxhey to Ware will be lead by Mick Leonard, who knows this part of the route, as I've never done it before. From Ware we will follow the Lee Valley to Stratford Olympic Park and then final leg across London using super highways to West Drayton

Most of this route will be off road, the first 15 miles will involve hills, and this will make the ride super challenging

First Stop Oxhey at Watford Other Stops will be between 10 - 15 miles apart

Please bring with you a bike with off road tyres, this is not suitable for road bikes. STRONG legs and Stamina, a sense of humour and adventure are a must!! We ride at a pace of 8 - 10 mph, if you are a fast rider you will be asked to stay at the back, unless there is steep hill in which case you can go ahead but must wait at the top. Ensure you have adequate snacks/drinks to keep you going and also a BACK UP plan should you need to stop for any reason.
