Starting from - TFCC - Traffic Free Cycling Club rides start from West Drayton Station near the bike racks, we leave 15 mins after the start time, and can wait longer if people text or call to let me know they are running late (07867824809).

We use the network of canal tow paths, cycle trails and paths to keep us as off road as possible, this however means there will be mud, glorious mud. So please don't bring your road bikes with super thin tyres these rides will not be suitable. UB7 9DY

The event we are riding to today, is the Maple Lodge Nature Reserve Open Day. Lunch stop will be at either The Old Orchard or at Rickmansworth Aquadrome. The timings and route are as follows

10.00 - Meet at West Drayton Station
1015 - After introductions of newbies, and waiting for usual late attendees (usually me). We will take the route through Little Britain and using off road routes avoiding the canal.
11.00 - 1st stop at Denham Deep Frans Cafe for Tea and Cake
11.15 - Using the wider path of the canal we cycle upto harefield, leaving the canal at the Coy Carp Pub.
12.30 - Arrive at Maple Lodge usually more tea and cake to keep us going til lunch, don't worry about the calories, at this point there will be a walk around the reserve.
13:30 - On our way to Lunch
14:30 - On route back to WD station
16:00 - back at West Drayton

* NOTE - All timings are estimates, and are dependent on how long we spend at the event, plus the speed of the ride, as well as dealing with punctures and other malfunctions.
