heading out from Sherdley Park we head to the Dream , and then out through the old Grain Trail before heading to Spike Island , we then go over the Runcorn Bridge and head out through Runcorn basically towards Northwich , there are lots of stunning views along the way , including an old truck that could be out of a horror movie !! The actual boat lift is an engineering miracle , it is massive !! Rather than head back via the runcorn bridge , we head towards Penketh , and Clockface before landing back at Sherdley Park .

there will be many stops to regroup , but main stop will e The Boat Lift , there is a pub just behind the lift with a big beer garden !!

spare tubes , a pump , basic tools , helmet , suitable clothing for the weather , and also some cash in case of emergencies .

This is a tough ride with some challenging climbs , please only join this ride if you can cover the distance , with the climbs ! We will ride at an average of 9-11 mph on this ride so it is not for new riders unfortunately . It will probably be our last longer ride of the year .
