Join Sustrans fantastic volunteers and Havering Cyclists on a leisurely Go explore with Sustrans bike ride through the Ingrebourne Valley to celebrate 20 years of the Sustrans National Cycle Network. We'll be riding along the Ingrebourne Way, National Cycle Network route 136, towards the beautiful RSPB Rainham Marshes in Purfleet. This 16-mile bike ride is 90% off road, on mostly tarmacked paths and suitable for all types of bicycle. If you don’t fancy the whole bike ride, there are two other meeting points along the way to reduce the distance to under 10 miles. There is a restaurant and toilet facilities at RSPB Rainham Marshes. Event Details: There are three joining points for this ride, meet us at: The junction of Chequers Road/Noak Hill Road and Lower Noak Close, RM3 7NB at 10am. The nearest Station to the start point at Noak Hill is Harold Wood. Next to Upminster Park car park (free) at 11am. Access this car park via St. Mary’s Lane opposite Champion Road and next door to New Windmill Hall, RM14 2QH. The nearest stations to Upminster Park is Upminster and Upminster Bridge. Meet us next to Hornchurch Country Park car park (free) at 11:30am. Access this car park at the end of Squadrons Approach, Hornchurch, RM12 6TS. The nearest station to Hornchurch Country Park is Hornchurch. This ride will end at RSPB Rainham Marshes Visitor Centre at around 1pm. Please wear suitable clothing for the weather, bring sun protection, waterproofs and something to drink. All under 18s must be accompanied by an adult. Sign up now. Places on the ride are limited.
