HSBC UK Breeze is British Cycling's women only programme, run by our fantastic Breeze Champions, inspiring women to ride for fun and fitness.
Now in its sixth year, Wythenshawe Games is Manchester’s largest community sports festival, taking place over seven days in and around Wythenshawe and centering on the beautiful and historic Wythenshawe Park and Hall. In collaboration with the games SkyRide Local are running our very own Wythenshawe Park ride. This is a fabulous traffic-free route within Wythenshawe wooded park with a stretch along a cycle lane on the northern and southern edges of the park. A great family park, with plenty of places for picnics and recreational facilities such as tennis courts, a children's play area and a café. The park is also steeped in history, so after the ride why not look out for the statue of Oliver Cromwell or explore historic Wythenshawe Hall?
Wythenshawe Games 2017 takes place from Wednesday 26th to Sunday 30th July. Activities centre around the beautiful and historic Wythenshawe Park, where a temporary Games Village is constructed. Satellite events also take place in other parts of Wythenshawe at some of the fabulous sports venues the community has to offer.
Why not stay in the Park after your Ride and enjoy all the activities on offer.
