mostly quiet roads, any roadworthy bike is suitable

we will stop for a drink and a photo at about half way

You must wear a helmet. Please bring tools to change a puncture (spare inner tube, tyre levers, pump, any tools you need to take your wheel off). You may want to bring a drink and a snack and a waterproof jacket
