The route takes us on a 9 miles loop, heading out of Leeds on the cycle lanes along Kirkstall Road, passing Kirkstall Abbey and Hawksworth Woods.
We then dip down to the tree-lined riverside path to cross the River Aire at the historic and picturesque Newlay Bridge before winding past Kirkstall Forge and back along the canal for the return journey.
