Thursday meander to Clifton Country Park

We really never leave anyone behind! Please don't worry if you have never ridden in a group before. Our journey will take us from Burrs Country Park to NCR 6 and the Bury & Bolton Canal. We will pick up Outwood Trail at Radcliffe and travel along to the M60 ring road on a traffic free route. We will then leave the trail and travel along quiet back roads to Cliffton Country Park where we'll stop for coffee and a comfort break. We will travel back to the Bury & Bolton Canal and the Mecchano Bridge, we'll continue up to Radcliffe and leave the canal tow path for a short time to enable us to avoid the dreaded cobbles! we'll rejoin the canal and make our way back to Burrs Country Park.

A cafe stop at Clifton Country Park, bring some money for a brew and any sustenance you may require.

Helmets are a must along with a spare inner-tube for your bike and a bicycle pump if you have one. Suitable clothing for the weather, layers are always good in the event of arm weather!
