This route is very Chilternesque, that is; lovely views, pretty villages, some sharp hills and sweeping descents. Many of the roads are country lanes but there are some busier roads which mean that riders need to be confident riding in faster traffic. Some of the villages we will pass through are Radnage, Hampden, and Great Missenden. We will keep together as a group and always wait at the top of hills. We will aim to ride at an average of approx 11mph.
This ride is suitable for a road bike and a hybrid with road tyres.
We will stop at a new cafe in Princes Risboro which has plenty of indoor seating so we can spread out.
I would prefer that you wear a helmet and have lights on your bike. You will also need a pump tyre levers and 2 spare inner tubes . Please note that we cannot share equipment. Remember to bring a mask and card/ cash for the cafe. Please check your bike is road worthy the night before to avoid any last minute panics in the morning!
We never leave anyone behind
