Via Brantingdale is 2m shorter than going up Elloughton Dale, but the choice is yours! We'll go up to High Hunsley, along Littlewood Road and back via Walkington, Little Weighton and Welton for coffee.
Additional important info arising from the covid pandemic:
British Cycling are sticking strictly to government guidelines but are keeping social distancing to 2m. As a result, participants will usually ride single file. Please don't ride beside anyone else unless you can safely ride 2m away from them. And please be careful to stay at least 2m from anyone outside your household throughout, including the coffee stop. If it isn't possible to maintain a 2m social distance in a cafe, then we will not be able to include a stop there as part of the ride.
If anyone has a puncture/mechanical, leaders should advise participants on how to fix it from afar and only do the repair as a last resort. If everyone could check their bikes extra carefully before coming, it would be great. British Cycling's Commuting bike check video is good :

Leaders will give first aid, if necessary.
Into the edge of the Wolds and back via Welton
Quiet lanes, for the most part.
We'll stop to get our breath(s), admire the view and for coffee in Welton.
