Tour of Swindon

This is a mainly flat route exploring some of the great green spaces of Swindon. The routes takes you up to Bruce St. Railway Bridges, crosses the River Ray and meanders up Shaw Ridge at its highest point.  Crossing Hay Lane you descend into Lydiard Park which makes a great place for a stopping point.  Head north to Peatmoor Lagoon to discover Chinese Pagoda’s before taking the converted old branch line to Moredon Power Station.  The final section of the route passes Shaw forest Park before joining the out bound leg to return by the River Ray bridge.
