Sale Water Park

An attractive route that follows the epic Trans Pennine Trail along the Mersey Valley, through Dainewell Woods, and across the eastern end of the Cheshire Plain to the charming village of Lymm. It returns on road through quiet rural lanes, skirting Dunham Park, before a short urban stretch through Sale. It concludes along the Connect 2 route, the Bridgewater Way. Surfaces vary from tarmac, through compacted shale to sand, so bikes with wide tyres are a sensible choice.
