Training Bike Ride. Group Ride for riders that are looking to improve their average speed, hill climbing skills and endurance.

Meet from 7:50 am for an 8:00 am departure. Meet at Roehampton Gate SW15 5JY, inside the park to the left after the roundabout.

In May, I completed Ride London-Essex 100 miles and achieved my goal for this year. Now it's time to help others achieve their goal. If you are a casual rider and you have challenged yourself to complete London to Brighton or any other long ride, I am here to help you.

Richmond Park is a great place to practice speed and hill-climbing away from traffic. This is a training ride for riders with an average speed of at least 10 m/h. Depending on the riders, we can split into 2-3 smaller groups and ride at different average speeds: 10-12 m/h, 13-15m/h, etc. Expect to meet riders of different abilities. Don't carry any backpacks, make your bike as light as possible.

We will aim to complete 4-5 inner laps or 3-4 laps combination of inner and outer. 1st lap warm-up lap inner clockwise.

Please note that this is a training ride from 8 am to 10 am. You can stop for refreshments or leave the ride at any time. At about 9:30 am Peri will be heading to Brook Green to lead the 10 am Easy Bike Ride. Feel free to join the social leisure ride.
