Ride around forest trails and quiet country roads in and around Temple Newsam park and estate.
Discover the Leventhorpe vineyard .. One of the most northerly in the Uk.
Whizz through pretty forests, and enjoy the tour of The amphitheatres, rhododendron lined paths, rose gardens, and lakes of this beautiful park. A fabulous opportunity to admire the grounds designed by the famous landscaper, Capability Brown and ride up the short, sharp locally renowned 'Dog Kennel Hill'
Suitable for bikes with off road tyres or sturdy tourers only. The forest trails can be muddy if it's rained recently..and there are patches of path that have been filled with clippings and small rocks to fill in previous holes.
Note: Temple Newsam is also not flat .. So warm up those legs!
