Middlesbrough Sports Village, Alan Peacock Way, Middlesbrough TS4 3AE

Starting from the Middlesbrough Sports Village, this ride goes through Nunthorpe, to Great Ayton, before heading towards Stokesley, where there will be a comfort stop. We travel towards Kirkby, Great Broughton before tackling the Clay Bank climb.

We have a break at the top before continuing towards Chop Gate, with a choice of riding either on the main B1257 or choosing a slight detour through the picturesque village of Urra.

We stop at Lord Stones café on this trip.

We return via Carlton (descending the bank), heading towards Great Busby, through Stokesley once again. After Stokesley, we head towards Seamer, Newby, onto Brass Castle Lane, before descending Dixons Bank back to the Middlesbrough Sports Village.

This route is a challenging hilly ride.
