TWO COUNTIES RING

Easy and steady ride through East Staffordshire villages starting and ending at Barton on Trent Marina - this 18.2 mile journey takes you to Walton on Trent where on turning right we encounter the first of the two climbs of the ride. We head out past Catton hall passing through Croxton before turning left and into Edingale - bearing left at the village green we head for Lullington and the 2nd short climb before riding through Roliston with a stop for tea & cake at Roliston Forestry Centre then it's on to Drakelow where we turn left heading back to Walton on Trent turning right into the village and first right to cross the bridge over the river Trent before crossing two roundabouts and the last 0.5 mile to arrive at the marina.
