veloffee: Lichfield to Rosliston

This is a 33 mile circlular route heading east from Lichfield, stopping at a cafe in Rosliston to refuel then back via Walton-on-Trent to Lichfield.

This ride heads out from the south-eastern part of Lichfield to Rosliston where we will stop to refuel after which we will ride back via Walton-onTrent and Fradley and back to our starting point. The route follows mainly quiet country lanes with the occasional few hundred metres of slightly busier roads. The route takes us via Whittington, Elford, Harlaston, Clifton Campville, Overseal, Linton, Rosliston, Walton-on-Trent, Catton, Fradley and back to Lichfield.

We plan to stop at the Honey Pot in Rosliston where you can enjoy a cup of tea or coffe and if required, a slab of their legendary cake or door stop sandwich.

Helmets are mandatory in this route. Please make sure that you bring the usual cycling kit such as innertubes and please dress for the weather. We will be riding even if it's raining. It's only water! If you wish to refuel at the Honey Pot, please bring some money. They do take credit cards too :-).
